DEEP PURPLE To Perform Entire 'Machine Head' LP On U.K. Tour
March 27, 2007According to TotalRock.com, DEEP PURPLE will play the entire "Machine Head" album in sequence on their upcoming U.K. tour. Also on the bill are STYX and THIN LIZZY. The dates are as follows:

DEEP PURPLE is touring behind its latest CD, "Rapture of the Deep". An expanded version of "Rapture of the Deep" was released last June, pairing the original release with a second CD that has, among other things, a new version of the song "Clearly Quite Absurd" and five live performances from when the band reopened the Hard Rock Cafe in London in October 2005. Among the live cuts are the classic DEEP PURPLE songs "Highway Star", "Smoke on the Water", and "Perfect Strangers".
